My 14 year old daughter made an angel with her face cut from a photo glued onto a cutout paper angel with glitter all over when she was in preschool. I love it! And I love that blanket. One of my best friends is having her first grandchild in about two months. This would be lovely for him.
My favorite ornament is one my parents got before I was born. My parents were stationed over in Okinawa and got a neat wooden boat ornament from there. I've since taken it as my own and it's been on my tree every year since! Thanks for the chance to win!

It's hard to pick a favorite, but here goes: when I was about 8 my sister broke my 1st Christmas ornament. Just shattered it. That Christmas she made me one to replace it (REALLY WONKY) out of felt and handstitched (she was 10 at the time). At first I was really angry, but that sweet gesture has really grown on my over the years. I can't find it in my stuff this year . . . I hope my mom still has it!

Every year my neighbor would invite 12 ladies to make 12 homemade ornaments. (Kinda like a cookie exchange party.) When the party was over we each had 12 different ornament, we did this for about 10 years. You wouldn't believe the beautiful work the ladies did. When I put the tree up each year, I remember who made what and the good times we had. Its a nice Christmas memory.

It was a special treat - something I didn't get many of in school - so I tend to look on it fondly.
